Siobhan Redmond guest stars as Francesca Bower in the cast of Death in Paradise series 14
Glasgow-born Siobhan Redmond, 65, joins the cast of Death in Paradise as Francesca Bower.
As well as her work with the theatre, and the Royal Shakespeare Company, she has been on our screens for four decades. Her very first roles were in comedy sketch shows, including There's Nothing to Worry About! opposite Stephen Fry, and its sequel Alfresco.
Between 1985 and 1987, the Scottish actress played Lucy McGinty in the detective drama Bulman, before going on to portray DS Maureen Connell in Between the Lines, and Shona Spurtle in Alan Cumming comedy The High Life.
In 2000, she started portraying Janice Taylor in Holby City, a role she played until 2002. Other notable roles include Sharon in The Smoking Room, CSE Lorna Hart in The Bill, Chief Supt Karen Campbell in Taggart, Beth in The Replacement, and Derran Finch in the 2018 series of Unforgotten.
More recently, Siobhan has played Jane Stone in the cosy crime drama Queens of Mystery, Anne-Marie in Two Doors Down, and Grey in Rain Dogs opposite Daisy May Cooper.
Madeline Appiah plays Cora Ambrose
Actress Madeline Appiah portrays Cora Ambrose in the cast of Death in Paradise episode four.
She's probably best known for playing Agnes in the Bill Bailey comedy series In the Long Run, created by Idris Elba.
Madeline has been on our screens ever since 2005, when she popped up as Efua Mansah in Holby City. After small roles in The Bill, Doctors, and EastEnders, Madeline portrayed Annette in the 2015 Agatha Christie drama Partners in Crime alongside David Walliams.
More recently, the actress played Vivian in futuristic rap culture drama Jungle.
Michelle Asante stars as Janelle Dulice
Actress Michelle Asante joins the cast as Janelle Dulice in the latest episode of Death in Paradise series 14.
She is most famous for playing Kitty Wilson in the Jimmy Nesbitt drama Monroe, or Diana in Top Boy, the London drama about drug dealing and gangs.
Her very first TV role was playing Flo in a 2007 episode of Holby Blue, and she went on to star in TV series such as Midnight Man, Harley Street, Law & Order: UK, The Bill, and Holby City.
Other notable roles include Yveline Lafond in Father Brown, Marianne Bangura in Lucky Man, Dr Duma in Our Girl, and Maureen Fry in The Essex Serpent. More recently, she played Ashley in Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story.
Ansu Kabia plays Patrick Ambrose
Actor Ansu Kabia portrays Patrick Ambrose in the cast of Death in Paradise. He's best known for playing Moses in Miss Scarlet and the Duke, a role he played from 2020 to 2022.
He's also famous for portraying Eddie Knight in World on Fire, Eddie Knight in The Sandman, and Tom Bryant in the Channel 5 Jo Joyner thriller For Her Sins.
Other notable roles include James Richards in The Long Song, Derae in I May Destroy You, and John Cooper in The Irregulars.
More recently, he played Bartholomew in Lucy & Sara, and Raye in the Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black with Industry actress Marisa Abela.
