The competition kicks off at St Hilary Guest House in Llandudno, north Wales, where owner Tricia Watson and her daughter Jess hope that their classic seaside destination will impress. Guests Darren and Alex take a shine to their sink, but Debbie and Paul aren't pleased with the plumbing. At dinner, there's food for thought when some of the guests' culinary expertise is revealed, leaving the hosts in the hot seat. And there's a surprising revelation from Sue and Linda. At breakfast, cooking methods and quality are questioned, before a refusal to return has Tricia and Jess chewing over their feedback
