The Emmotts and Blakes from Surrey swap homes and budgets for the week - and although they live just 12 miles apart, their financial circumstances differ greatly. The Emmotts live in a four-bedroom house in Epsom. They enjoy various activities, while their sons are into sports and music. Their weekly budget is more than £1,300. Single mum Niki Blake, meanwhile, lives in a small flat in Addleston with her children Mia and JJ. After bills, they get by on just £125 a week
