The family heads to a zombie-themed hotel as a treat for Spencer's birthday. However, Dan and Courtney are not speaking, and Jonathan and Claire are still feeling awkward in the wake of the kiss. Jonathan impulsively punches a zombie and his relationship with the hotel manager deteriorates to the point that they are thrown out.
