Dave, a would-be groom with an obsessive fondness for the sea plans to whisk his water-phobic fiancee Rosie off for a remote wedding on wind-swept Lundy Island off the coast of Devon. However, the location carries bad memories for the bride-to-be as the site of a near-death experience in which she nearly drowned. After three weeks of battling the elements, and struggling to win over his intended's close-knit family, Dave hopes his risky plan will pay off
