Couple Irene and Richard remodel their three-bedroom Croydon home, which has started to feel too small after living there for 19 years, with three teenagers fighting for space. Richard's biggest bugbear is being made to wait for hours to use the only bathroom in the house, while Irene is desperate for more space but is unwilling to get rid of her industrial sized tumble dryer, and architects Lizzie Fraher and Laura Jane Clark will have to incorporate a place for her prized possession into their design
