The course of the seasons, beginning with spring, which sees the hills on fire on fire as the annual muirburn takes place in the Cairngorms. As the flames rise, an osprey returns to a valley near Loch Ness, with its movement captured in super slow-motion at 800 frames per second. Red squirrels and roe deer prepare for the breeding season, while a cataclysmic downpour has major consequences for a family of dippers, whose youngsters are forced to fledge early before the nest is swept away.
