As bread week arrives, the remaining home-bakers must face three tough tasks set by Paul Hollywood. For the signature bake, the contestants make a sweet dough with a twist, and in the technical they must face baking without an oven. Finally, for the showstopper, they are challenged to use three different flours to create a huge centrepiece and impress judges Paul and Mary. Meanwhile, Mel heads to Germany to find out how a baker and a few hundred dumplings saved his small town from the ravages of 30 years of war
