It's Christmas Eve, 10 months after Shazia and Amjad's wedding, and Mr Khan is in a festive mood for once. He's even bought himself a new suit. Could it have something to do with the fact that he has been given the honour of placing the star on top of the Sparkhill inter-faith Christmas tree? There's great excitement as the entire family gathers at the Khan house before heading out to the ceremony.
