The return after a mid-series break of the programme in which the hotelier and entrepreneur finds solutions for certain critical issues that lead to the closure of many small businesses. Two-and-a-half years ago, Marlene and Ray Messer followed their dream and bought the Singing Kettle tearooms in the Devon resort of Torquay, but business has taken a turn for the worse and Alex tells them they need to adapt to survive.
