Am I Being Unreasonable? series 2 cast: Daisy May Cooper as Nic
Co-creator and co-writer Daisy May Cooper, 38, stars as Nic in the cast of series 2. Of course, Daisy is best known for playing Kerry in the self-penned comedy This Country, which she created with her brother Charlie.
The comedy, which ran for three series between 2017 and 2020, followed Kerry and Kurtan in a documentary-style comedy about the lives and experiences of young people in modern, rural Britain. To say it was hilarious doesn't do it justice.
Gloucester-born Daisy first appeared on our screens in 2011, when she played a young mum in Doc Martin. But her stratospheric rise to fame was just around the corner.
After popping up as PC Garvey in James Corden comedy The Wrong Mans, she wrote and starred in the 2014 pilot for This Country, at the time called Kerry. Using good sense, the BBC commissioned the pilot to a full series and the rest is history.
After the show's end, Daisy played Thomasine Gooch in 2022's The Witchfinder. That same year, her next comedy Am I Being Unreasonable? landed on BBC One.
Other notable roles include Sarah/Zarah in Avenue 5, and Costello in Rain Dogs. She's also a familiar face on the comedy panel show circuit, and has appeared as a captain on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, on the couch in Celebrity Gogglebox, and even sang as Otter on The Masked Singer 2023.
