Having thankfully been given a clean bill of health after Roddy's heart failure diagnosis a year earlier, Roddy and Uisdean prepare a selection of dishes as a small thank-you to two of the nurses. Roddy prepares Baltimore crab cakes, a dairy and sugar-free apple pie to be accompanied with dairy-free ice-cream. Uisdean, convinced that Roddy might need a spare part, prepares ox heart stuffed with spinach and mushroom duxelles. For a tasty fish dish he cooks up halibut with bleurre blanc
