Navid proudly shows off his new self-service barcode scanner, but frustrations quickly mount when his shoppers struggle to use the fancy device. Tam helps an older woman who is having trouble paying for her items and the two become friends, although when the locals realise she is not short of a bob or two, they become suspicious of his motives. Meanwhile, there is some serious queue jumping over at the butcher's as Jack and Victor are determined to get their hands on the last steak pie in the shop
