After a bumper scanning, Jo and Andy head into lambing season expecting nearly 900 lambs. With half their wheat dying in the fields they need their livestock to do well, but the spring weather takes a turn for the worse. In Caithness, Sally and father Iain vaccinate their ewes, and Sally takes her mum for a special birthday celebration. At Hillhead farm, Ben Imrie takes a full-time job, leaving more for John and Antoinette to do on their own. Daughter Keziah comes home from agricultural college to muck in, and to make a second attempt to get her pigs to market
