2024 Day Five
Jill Douglas presents coverage of the fifth and final day of the annual event, held this year at Ballerup Super Arena in Denmark. In the women's keirin, Great Britain's Emma Finucane will try and get the better of her New Zealand foe Ellesse Andrews. The Kiwi claimed golds in the Paris Olympics in both the keirin and sprint, with Finucane having to settle for bronze in both events. In the men's elimination event, Great Britain's Ethan Vernon is the defending champion, while five-time Olympic gold medallist Harrie Lavreysen of the Netherlands is the reigning champion in the sprint. Also decided this afternoon are the men's madison and the women's points race. With analysis from Chris Hoy, and commentary by Simon Brotherton and Chris Boardman
