Michael Portillo explores Huelva, starting in the town of Isla Cristina, where he meets restaurant owner Ramon, who is on the hunt for fish at the market. He stops off in the city to learn about Christopher Columbus's residence, before heading inland to see the mines of Rio Tinto and the town of Aracena. He ends his trip by learning about the region's most famous ham with brothers Domingo and Manolo
