Máirtín Tom Sheáinín is joined by Co Galway native Tom Conroy. When he finished school, he went to work in the GBC restaurant in Galway to make enough cash to pay for a ticket to the UK. In London he worked on building sites before returning to Ros Muc where he worked for Jet Mara in An Spidéal for five years. Tom then emigrated to Boston, USA, with his wife and two children where he worked for many years on the Big Dig and has lived since.
