Ten miles north of Derby, police control receives reports of suspected drug-driver and officers are forced into a high-speed pursuit when the vehicle fails to stop. After the driver crashes into traffic, four men abandon the car and flee and a police helicopter and ground units hunt for the runaway suspects. Near Chesterfield, a tip-off from a member of the public leads to a drink driver who can barely stand up
