A woman is left beaten and raped with no memory of what happened, putting Benson and Stabler on the trail of a serial offender who uses drugs to control women. They manage to locate the culprit, but the subsequent prosecution is hampered by a previous victim's refusal to testify and the case comes dangerously close to falling apart.
