Simon and Ferdinand are playing in the yard. Simon wants to play a joke on Ferdinand with a slimy snail. Grossed out, Ferdinand inadvertently tosses the snail into the gaping hold of the old hollow tree. And both boys know that there are lots of even more disgusting critters in there!
