The Girl in the Box
The story of how, following the kidnap of 25-year-old Stephanie Slater in 1992, extortionist and murderer Michael Sams attempted to evade a huge police operation. The programme looks back at estate agent Stephanie's abduction at knife point, and how, despite being blindfolded during her abduction, she was able to provide vital details that eventually lead police to her captor
