Portugal v France

Portugal v France (Kick-off 8.00pm). Coverage of the second quarter-final from Volksparkstadion, which is a repeat of the 2016 final, won by Portugal after extra time. The Portuguese scraped through to this stage by winning a penalty shootout against Slovenia in their last-16 tie, after Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty in the first half of extra-time. Thankfully for them, three saves from Portugal keeper Diogo Costa in the shootout helped them to progress, with Manchester City's Bernardo Silva scoring the winning penalty. France also made it through a tight and nervy last-16 tie against Belgium, as Randal Kolo Muani's effort deflected in off Jan Vertonghen in the 85th minute to give Les Blues a 1-0 victory. That win means France have reached at least the quarter-finals at six of the last seven major tournaments since 2014, but none of their players have yet to score a goal from open play in their four matches to date
