Gordon Ramsay visits Shanty on 19th, an iconic restaurant in the West End theatre district of Allentown, Pennsylvania, which has been a local presence for decades. However, its future success is under threat unless Gordon and his team can return the place to its former glory. They have just 24 hours to clean and remodel the interior as a bright and airy contemporary bistro that pays homage to the industrial history of its hometown and recreate the menu, working around the clock with the staff, who must learn how to make the new dishes and work together more effectively. The customers are asked to come back the next day to see the improvements. Will they think the new eatery is a star in the making?
