Claire and Mitchell work on their speech, Phil and Cam are starstruck when they spot their favourite author on the train, Manny and Luke go girl crazy and Gloria finds herself stuck in a frustrating situation. Meanwhile, Jay seems delighted that Dede has moved on for good, but could his overenthusiasm come back to bite him?
