American comedian and actress Desiree Burch joins Joe Lycett for some snow-filled shenanigans in the city of Rovaniemi - the official home of Santa Claus - in Finnish Lapland on the edge of the Arctic Circle. The pair try out ice floating by donning rubber suits and climbing into a freezing lake. After they thaw out, they head for a five-course tasting menu inspired by Lappish ingredients including reindeer. On day two, Joe and Desiree experience ice fishing, ride in a traditional Sami reindeer caravan, learn some local handicrafts and look for the Northern lights
