A large-scale operation unfolds when a man in Glasgow calls emergency services threatening to detonate a bomb in a residential street. Though late at night the residents are evacuated, while paramedics, the police and fire service stay behind. In Edinburgh, two paramedics with asthma are called to the home of a fellow sufferer who is experiencing a nasty attack. They also attend a scene outside a nightclub in the city centre where a man is suffering because of alcohol and drugs
