Feyenoord v Bayer Leverkusen (Kick-off 5.45pm). Coverage of the matchday one contest in the league phase from De Kuip. Feyenoord finished third in the old group stage in 2023/24, behind Atletico Madrid and Lazio, but above Celtic, to qualify for the UEFA Europa League where they were defeated by AS Roma on penalties. Leverkusen enjoyed an outstanding campaign last term, winning the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal, with only a 3-0 defeat at the hand of Atalanta in the Europa League final preventing them from going unbeaten in all competitions throughout the season
