The New Year finds the contractors back hard at work. In Cúl Aodha, young contractor Niall is busy spreading slurry as are Paddy and his crew in North Kerry. Meanwhile, in Donegal, Traolach is occupied with drainage work. It's all hands on deck for the Carrolls in Cavan as they prepare for the spring farm machinery and Kieran in Waterford is harvesting beet. Meanwhile, in Cork, Alan is sowing winter wheat, while in Meath Shane is hedge-cutting before the season ends
