An officer accuses his former colleagues from the 12th Precinct of fraud and cover-ups, but it results in him being committed to a psychiatric ward. The Internal Affairs Bureau asks members of the SVU to assist their investigation, and Cassidy is sent in undercover - but his life is threatened when someone in the crooked team is prepared to stop at nothing to keep things the way they are
