Mark Williams v Ding Junhui. Hazel Irvine presents coverage of the third of the first-round matches, held at Alexandra Palace in London. Williams was beaten 6-4 by Ali Carter at this stage last year, but has won this title on two occasions. Ding was crowned champion in 2011 and also fell in the first round in 2024, losing out to eventual champion Ronnie O'Sullivan.
