A wife's vow to love until death us do part becomes uncomfortably relevant when her husband becomes the focus of a police investigation. Beth Fairchild feels like an outsider in the Kentish coastal village where her husband Tom is the respected local doctor. Out of the blue, he is arrested in connection with the murder of a local woman then released due to a lack of evidence. The rumour mill whirs into overdrive and Beth tries to protect her family with the help of her husband's best friend, Adam.
