On her croft in Caithness, Sally is in the thick of lambing where unseasonal weather is taking its toll. She loses three lambs in one day and has to call out the vet for a ewe who's had a difficult birth. Meanwhile, her son William comes down with chicken pox. In Fife, Jo and Andy decide to dig up 100 acres of failed wheat, which they resow with oats, while storms cause a lambing nightmare for Nick and his 'easy-care' sheep
