Julian races to help a horse that has suffered a painful injury. Teal has a large gash on his neck, and owner Lisa has no idea how it happened. Tux is a black Labrador with a nasty-looking mouth tumour. Peter has removed similar lumps from Tux before, but now the cancer has returned, so they are heading for the operating theatre once more
