Further coverage of day one of the Grand Slam tournament from the All England Club, as the first round continues in the men's and ladies' singles. Coco Gauff has been a popular player at SW19 since her debut as a 15 year old in 2019, but she had a tournament to forget here last year, falling at the first hurdle to compatriot Sofia Kenin. However, she has since won her maiden Grand Slam at the 2023 US Open and also reached the semi-finals of both the Australian and French Opens this year so will be considered a leading contender this time around
