FIFA World Cup 2026
Switzerland v Canada
Switzerland v Canada (Kick-off 8.00pm). Mark Pougatch presents coverage of both teams' concluding Group B match, held at BC Place Vancouver in Canada. The only previous meeting between these nations was a friendly match in 2002 that took place on Swiss soil, and saw the Canadians claim a 3-1 victory. While there were few players on the teamsheet that day that all but the most ardent fans will be familiar with, both of the current-day squads feature players that have plied their trade in England, such as Granit Xhaka and Manuel Akanji of Switzerland, and Liam Millar and Cyle Larin of Canada. This is the second match of the tournament here for Jesse Marsch's men, and should they top the group and progress to the last-32 then their next match will also take place at this venue. With analysis from Ian Wright, Patrick Vieira and Duncan Ferguson
