The six best players come together in the semi-final, beginning with a series of highly tactical game sin which they can select the same piece more than once and position them on the back rank as they wish. The three losers then fight for their place by facing off against nine-year-old chess prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan, the youngest player ever to represent England in an international competition.
