The team is called to investigate when a body is found partially buried on a construction site and Peter identifies the victim as Hillary Stone, who had just been acquitted of the murder of her baby son in a trial presided over by Megan's mother Joan. An overzealous reporter makes the investigation difficult by sensationalising the case and Hillary's mother finds it all too much to bear. Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden guest stars, with Dana Delany and Nicholas Bishop
