The events of August 2021, when 22-year-old Jake Davison shot and killed five people in a quiet cul-de-sac in Keyham, Plymouth. He then turned the gun on himself, in what was the worst mass shooting on British soil for over a decade. In previous months, Davison uploaded a series of videos and posts on internet forums, which chart his deteriorating state of mind and alienation from those around him. This digital legacy gives some insight in to why this tragic event happened. This documentary also explores Davison's connection to the 'Incel' movement, which has been linked to violent extremism
