While incarcerated in his own prison, nicknamed La Catedral for its fortress-like grandeur, Pablo continues to run his empire. Studying aerial photos of the prison, Murphy and Peña realise that Pablo is using carrier pigeons to send messages. When two of Escobar's lieutenants are photographed going to La Catedral, but never returning from it, Murphy and Peña decide to involve the press by letting them know about Moncada and Galeano's murders, thus causing national outrage
