At Uttoxeter Racecourse, brothers Alistair and Dominic rummage for bargains with expert Jonathan Pratt. They spot a huge leather megaphone, but decide it isn't anything to shout about. Meanwhile, mother and son Pam and Dan shopping alongside expert Irita Marriott spot a flambé ceramic cat, but are put off by the asking price. Staffordshire is the birthplace of Wade Pottery and a post-war collecting phenomenon. From the 1950s onwards Wade made Whimsies, small solid porcelain animal figures still collected today.
