Documentary following zookeeper Giles Clark as he hand-rears Sumatran tiger cubs Spot and Stripe, which were born at the Australia Zoo in Queensland and are one of the world's most critically endangered species. To help give them the best start and ensure their survival, Giles takes them home to live with his boisterous family and gives them round-the-clock care for the first four months of their lives. The film gives an intimate look into the crucial early development of the cubs as they struggle through their first crucial weeks, while Giles embarks upon the toughest parenting job of his life and tries to save the species from the brink of extinction in the wild.
