Wolf Wood at Longleat has seen more plot twists than a soap opera, but in 2022 it was struck by tragedy on another scale when the matriarch of the pack, Eliska, died. As always, the keepers must look forwards, and now is the time to rebuild the pack. They have selected three females from which they plan to build a new group, but they must first establish who is the most dominant and therefore most likely to bond with a new male when he arrives.
