A whistle-stop journey through Welsh number one hits, featuring many of Wales' best loved artists across seven decades. The programme begins in 1959 with Shirley Bassey's first time at the top of the hit parade and then comes more up to date with DJ Fresh's Dubstep smash, featuring the vocals of Caerphilly's Sian Evans. Along the way there's also music by Tom Jones, Duffy, Bonnie Tyler, Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics and a classic from the biggest-selling UK singles artist of the 1980s
