Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Christmas Fishing
Gone Christmas Fishing
Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse travel to Cahors in south-west of France, where they celebrate another eventful year of fishing together. Under the warm French sun, they drop their lines in the Cele and the Lot in search of Mediterranean bass and huge carp, and also reflect on the highs and lows of the year gone by and ponder what the new year might have in store. Their annual awards ceremony brings a few unusual surprises, including a very special guest, and they stay in an old chateau that boasts its own vineyard. Could life be any more perfect?
Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Christmas Fishing airs on BBC Two HD at 12:50 AM, Friday 27 December. (Subtitles, repeat, sign language, audio description.)
