Norrie struggles to cope with the loss of her mother and lashes out at Joe, telling him that Alice's death was his fault. Hurt by the accusations, he tells Julia about the black egg that he found under the mini-dome, but when the pair head off to investigate, they discover the egg has turned pink - and another disturbing hologram duly appears.
