United have struggled in the Premier League so far this season, but are the holders of this competition and eliminated Arsenal on penalties at Emirates Stadium in the previous round. Leicester are also enduring a difficult top-flight campaign this term and are now managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy, who briefly served United as caretaker manager earlier this season. They progressed to this stage after thrashing Queens Park Rangers 6-2 lifted this trophy for the first time in their history four years ago, eliminating the Red Devils en route.
