Feature-length episode. A woman's severed leg is found in the grass at the side of a motorway and Taggart and Livingstone are brought into the investigation. As the body parts build up Taggart finds himself no closer to the solution and the investigation leads them to a butcher who becomes a prime suspect. However, when he turns up dead, killed with the same gun as the dismembered corpse, it appears to be another dead end
