First to open the restaurant doors is 26-year-old Mabel, who describes herself as an alpha female and has been single for four years. Mabel has come to the restaurant in the hope of ending her search and meeting a man who can handle her. Lion, her date, is a self-proclaimed lion by name and nature. Seventy-year-old tour guide Sonya has been widowed for 15 years and is looking for a man who she can call her best friend and share experiences with. Her date, 69-year-old film rigger Graham, is looking for a romance fit for the silver screen. The pair hit it off immediately as they bond on being young at heart. Twenty-six-year-old florist Charlotte is passionate about her work. She hasn't had much time to date recently but is set on changing that and is hoping that tonight will be her first step to finding a relationship. Charlotte's date is 29-year-old Adam, a data analyst from Blackpool who has taken some time out from dating after a recent heartache but is ready to get back in the game
