Using 3D scanning technology, Alexander Armstrong and Dr Michael Scott uncover the hidden history of three Italian cities, beginning with Naples, from its earliest Greek and Roman origins. The pair explore the impact of the volcano of Mount Vesuvius, and how it both nurtured the region and exacted a terrible price on the local population. Alexander and Michael also delve into a labyrinth of underground spaces constructed by ruling Bourbon kings in the 19th century, that helped to sustain the city
