This is England's first competitive fixture here since a 2-0 victory over Malta in a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier 10 months ago. Since then they have reached a second successive Euros final and they will expect nothing less than three points as they continue their bid to earn promotion back to the top tier of the Nations League. This is Finland's third trip to the British Isles this year and they are without a win so far, having lost 4-1 to Wales in a Euros play-off in March and drawn 2-2 in a friendly against Scotland three months ago.
